Why do prepay credits expire after 12 months?
Prepay credits expire after 12 months because we cannot act as a "bank" with open-ended liability. We also cannot risk having 1000's of customers who all wait (for example) for 18 months and then send all their messages on the same day.
We recommend that you purchase messages in sensibile quantities that you are likely to use within a year. This may cost more per message, but means that you are less likely to lose messages through expiry.
